Description
Pair of armchairs in finely carved gilded wood. The high backrests are centered by a perforated flamed rocaille. The armrests end in a curl of volute with arched uprights. The apron is arched and decorated with the same sculpture. The legs are wavy and end with a curly foot. They measure 113x70x53 cm and date back to the eighteenth century, made of gilded wood, coming from Rome. These armchairs are a fine example of Roman Baroque furniture, with detailed carvings and gilding that enhances the beauty of the wood. The wavy shape of the legs and the decorative details give these pieces an air of great elegance and sumptuousness, ideal for enriching a living room or a boardroom with a touch of history and luxury.
