Description
This large architecturally shaped secretaire, veneered in fine mahogany feather, is an extraordinary example of craftsmanship and sophisticated design. The front part has a cauldron which, once opened, reveals an interior adorned with a curtain marked by elegant columns and flanked by a nest of pullers. An internal mechanism allows you to reveal a tilting desk top, equipped with functional compartments.
Under the lower, two convex drawers provide additional storage space, while a door with a concave, convex profile completes the front of the cabinet. Four free-standing fluted columns, with composite capitals, add a touch of classicism and grandeur.
The secretaire’s hat is enriched by a foliated volute frieze, centered by a vase overflowing with fruit, which gives an additional decorative element of great effect. This piece not only offers exceptional functionality as a desk, but also represents a masterpiece of elegance and tradition, perfect for enriching any room with its imposing and refined style.
