This important oval-shaped snuff box in three-color 18ct gold is finely crafted with geometric patterns, floral and foliated inlays. On the sides, there are loggias with four capitals adorned with busts in classical style, adding a touch of refinement and artistic mastery. On the lid, the initials of King Frederick Augustus I of Saxony (1805 – 1827), crowned on green enamel, attest to the importance and royal origin of the piece. Made in Dresden.
